Object exists to bridge the gap between the creative world of design and the technological world of manufacture. We are a London based company who offer a range of services using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM). We provide a precise technical service with a creative and personable approach.

Our clients come to us with varying knowledge and expertise of digital design and the CNC (computer numerically controlled) machining processes. We can tailor our approach to your project accordingly. You can use us as a simple machining facility if you already know your way around the process or you can pick our brains to see how we can use CAD / CAM to help your project or improve your business. We can work with you throughout your project, from the initial conception through to manufacture, or can be brought into consult at any stage.

Object was founded by Tom Vaughan. He graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Masters degree in Product Design. He has previously worked as a cabinet maker and uses his background in the manufacturing process to maintain the “hands on” principle the company was built on. Object is his company and he is fully involved in the design process from inception to creation. Our philosophy is to use technology in a creative way. We are involved with teaching and development programs with several leading universities throughout the United Kingdom. We are willing to take the time to think outside of the box and experiment with materials and ideas to find a solution that fits your requirements both creatively and financially. If clients want raw materials cut to their specifications we offer a transparent pricing structure and can accommodate bulk work from our facility in North London.
